Erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Journalismusprojekt „49 Frauenbilder“

Ghazal Ibrahimkhel, Schülerin der 3AK, nahm am oberösterreichweiten Journalismusprojekt „49 Frauenbilder“ teil, das vom Frauenreferat des Landes Oberösterreich in Kooperation mit der campus a Akademie für Journalismus organisiert wurde. Ziel des Projekts ist es, Schülerinnen ab der 9. Schulstufe für journalistisches Arbeiten zu begeistern und gleichzeitig wichtige Themen rund um die Lebensrealitäten junger Frauen sichtbar zu machen.

Die Teilnehmer*innen verfassten journalistische Beiträge zu aktuellen frauenspezifischen Themen wie Rollenbildern, beruflichen Perspektiven, Chancen und Risiken sozialer Medien oder gesellschaftspolitischen Fragen. Dabei wurden neben journalistischen Fertigkeiten auch Medienkompetenz und der kritische Umgang mit Informationen in Zeiten von Fake News vermittelt.

Im Rahmen des Projekts fand am 5. März 2026 eine feierliche Abschlussveranstaltung im Schlossmuseum Linz statt. Dort wurden die engagierten Teilnehmer*innen für ihre Arbeiten ausgezeichnet und erhielten eine Urkunde für ihre Teilnahme.

Wir gratulieren Ghazal herzlich zu ihrem wirklich gelungenen Essay und freuen uns, dass sie mit ihrem Beitrag Teil dieses spannenden Medienprojekts war.

Besuch der 2CK in der Pfandlmühle

Am 5. März 2026 besuchte die Klasse 2CK die Pfandlmühle, ein rund 550 Jahre altes Familienunternehmen. Im Rahmen einer spannenden und informativen Führung erhielten wir interessante Einblicke in das traditionelle Müllerhandwerk und den Arbeitsalltag in einer modernen Mühle.

Zwei Müller führten uns durch den Betrieb und erklärten Schritt für Schritt, wie aus Getreide schließlich Mehl entsteht. Dabei konnten wir die verschiedenen Stationen der Verarbeitung genau beobachten – von der Anlieferung und Reinigung des Getreides bis hin zum Mahlen und Abfüllen des fertigen Mehls. Besonders interessant war zu sehen, mit welchen Maschinen gearbeitet wird und wie sorgfältig jeder einzelne Produktionsschritt durchgeführt werden muss.

Während der Führung hatten wir auch die Möglichkeit, viele Fragen zu stellen. Die beiden Müller beantworteten sie geduldig und erzählten uns viel Wissenswertes über Getreidesorten, die Arbeit in der Mühle und die lange Tradition des Betriebs.

Für eine kleine Stärkung zwischendurch war ebenfalls gesorgt: Wir wurden mit leckerem Gebäck und Kuchen verwöhnt, was den Ausflug zusätzlich zu einem schönen Erlebnis machte.

Der Besuch in der Pfandlmühle war für uns alle sehr interessant und lehrreich. Wir konnten hautnah erleben, wie viele Arbeitsschritte notwendig sind, bis aus Getreide Mehl und schließlich Brot wird. Der Ausflug hat uns einen spannenden Einblick in ein traditionelles Handwerk gegeben, das bis heute eine wichtige Rolle in unserer Lebensmittelproduktion spielt.

Practical Experience at Dublin One Hotel

As part of my Erasmus+ internship, I worked at Dublin One Hotel in Dublin. During my time there, I gained valuable insights into different areas of the hotel industry and was able to experience the daily operations first-hand.

Most of my work took place at the reception. I assisted guests with check-ins and check-outs and was also able to answer some basic questions. Since the reception is the first point of contact for guests, it was important to always stay friendly and professional. Every day, I met people from different countries, which helped me improve my English skills and become more confident in speaking.

In addition to working at the front desk, I also helped in the gastronomy area when needed. I supported the team during busy hours and made sure that guests felt welcome and comfortable. This showed me how important teamwork and flexibility are in the hotel industry.

Furthermore, I gained insight into the financial department (Accounts). I worked with financial documents and was even allowed to independently revise formulas.

Overall, this internship was a very valuable experience for me. I learned more about the hospitality industry, improved my language skills and gained practical experience in an international working environment. I would highly recommend this opportunity to everyone.

Developing Skills in an International Environment

My name is Timo and my very interesting internship has now come to an end. I, worked for almost two weeks at Motel One Dublin. It was very interesting to gain insights into the hotel industry and to see how such a large hotel operates behind the scenes.My main responsibilities were checking arrivals and reviewing bookings for special requests.During this internship, I really improved my English skills and learned more about Irish work culture.

Internship Experience in Dublin

As part of my internship, I am currently working in Dublin for two weeks. I am based at ICOT College in the city centre, where I am gaining valuable insights into an international working environment. During my internship, my tasks include filing in the marketing department and at reception, supporting communication between two premises, delivering materials between buildings, organising files in the administration office, and assisting with various day-to-day tasks to support the smooth running of the school.

I especially enjoy using English in a professional context and experiencing a new culture. My time in Dublin is very educational and is helping me further develop both my personal and professional skills.

Building Legal Skills Through an Erasmus+ Internship

I am currently completing an Erasmus+ internship at Coleman Legal LLP in Dublin. During my placement, I support the legal team in various administrative and organisational tasks. My responsibilities include organising and managing legal files, copying case documents, pulling physical files, assisting with document control, and comparing tables to ensure accuracy.

In addition, I have had the opportunity to attend court hearings, which gave me valuable insight into legal proceedings and the practical application of law in Ireland.

Professional and cultural Learning in Dublin

I am working at GSLS (General Secure Logistics Services), which focuses on cash security and logistics management. I am responsible for handling financial data and numerical records, which requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. It is very important to stay focused in order to minimize mistakes.

Privacy is especially important in this field, since I have access to sensitive financial data from various companies.

But that’s not all – I also have a lot of fun with my colleagues.

Overall, I highly recommend this great opportunity to everyone!

Work and Culture in Dublin: Our Internship Experience

We, Cara and Michael, are currently working at TCC Recruitment from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays during our Dublin trip. Our main focus is design in Canva and maintaining the business LinkedIn-accounts. Moreover, we helped building websites for TCC.
Due to a warm environment it‘s enjoyable work which also leads to an improvement of our English skills.
Now we‘re looking forward to a weekend full of karaoke nights, museum visits and city trips with our friends in Dublin.

Growing Through an Erasmus+ Internship Abroad

I am currently doing my Erasmus+ internship in Dublin and working at McSport. McSport is a sports retail company that offers a wide range of sportswear and equipment.

I work together with my manager and several colleagues in the store. My daily tasks include assisting customers, organizing products on the shop floor and working on files. I also check deliveries and make orders. Every day is different because we meet so many different customers with different needs.

A typical workday starts early in the morning. I get ready and leave the house around 9 a.m. to take the bus. Before my shift starts, I sometimes grab a coffee to start the day with some energy. During the day, I’m sitting in the office most of the time, making orders and working on files. I usually finish work in the afternoon.

I am very grateful for this experience because it allows me to improve my English, gain work experience abroad and become more independent. I would definitely recommend doing an Erasmus+ internship to anyone who wants to grow personally and professionally.

Our Dublin Internship: Working & Learning in Dublin

Able Solicitors is a law firm located 30 minutes away from the center of Dublin. In the first week, I worked with Nicole and my boss Joane. My main tasks include sorting documents into important and unimportant ones.

My work starts at 9:30 a.m. and finishes at 4 p.m. I usually arrive one hour early because I like to go for a little walk. The IMMA is only 15 minutes away from Able Solicitors and is surrounded by a beautiful park.

I am lucky to work at Able Solicitors and would recommend it to anyone.
